
Dr Ahmad Salehi Shahraki, a Lecturer in Cybersecurity at La Trobe University's Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, is a recognised expert in decentralised access control, applied cryptography, secure data systems, and blockchain. His leadership in innovative research and industry-aligned projects positions him as an authority in tackling real-world cyber security challenges.
Dr Ahmad's academic journey includes significant La Trobe, RMIT, and Monash University roles. At RMIT, he was a key figure in the Digital CBD project. He was a research fellow at the Blockchain Innovation Hub and the Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation. His leadership was instrumental in developing security solutions for the next generation of digital infrastructure.
He holds a PhD in Cybersecurity from Monash University and a Master's in Research from QUT. His research focuses on privacy-preserving access control, blockchain security, federated systems, and emerging cloud, IoT, and digital health applications. He has published widely in top-tier conferences and journals and actively supervises postgraduate students working at the frontier of security innovation.
Dr Ahmad is an active member of IEEE, AISA, IACR, ACM, and ACS. His influence extends beyond membership, as he is a frequent reviewer and contributor in the global cyber security research community.
