Caitriona Forde is the Founder and Managing Director of caIT Cyber Safe, a Western Australian-based consultancy specialising in cybersecurity awareness, education, and behaviour change. With over two decades of experience in the IT and cyber industry, Caitriona has worked across local government, mining, construction, finance, and community sectors—designing programs that engage people beyond compliance and empower them to take ownership of their digital safety.
Known for her energetic and relatable style, Caitriona transforms how organisations think about cyber risk by reframing it as a life skill—one that protects not just systems, but people, families, and communities. She is a sought-after speaker and educator who believes that effective cybersecurity starts with culture and conversation, not just controls.
In May 2025, Caitriona will begin a PhD at Murdoch University, researching the human factors that influence cyber-safe behaviour and how organisations can embed long-term cultural change. Her work is driven by a passion to close the gap between awareness and action in the face of today’s evolving digital threats.
