Head of Cyber Security Engineering | Leadership Mentor | Founder of Perth Women’s Circle
Dinda Timperon is not your typical cyber leader.
She’s a senior security executive, keynote speaker, and leadership mentor redefining what high performance looks like in one of the world’s most demanding industries.
Dinda began her career as an Aerospace Engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force — a foundation that shaped her obsession with precision, systems-thinking, and peak performance under pressure. She is a graduate of the prestigious National Test Pilot School in the USA and holds three degrees — a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace), a Master of Cyber Security Engineering, and an MBA.
Today, as Head of Cyber Security Engineering at Insignia Financial, she leads a national security team protecting a multi-billion dollar organisation — delivering critical uplift programs across cloud security, EDR, network segmentation, and enterprise platforms.
But what sets Dinda apart is how she leads humans — not just systems.
She is known for building security teams that don’t just deliver — they thrive. Coaching over 400 leaders, professionals, and founders, she teaches how to create clarity in chaos, protect energy, and lead sustainably at scale.
Outside of corporate leadership, Dinda is the founder of Perth Women’s Circle — one of Western Australia’s fastest-growing communities — creating spaces for connection, growth, and personal leadership for over 9,000 women. She is also a proud mum of two young boys, navigating the juggle of career, leadership, and family life with intention.
Her work bridges technical excellence with human wellbeing — because in cyber security, people are the real edge.
She’s here to build the next generation of cyber leaders — grounded, energised, and built to last.
