Building a purpose driven career in cyber security to secure our communities, Jakub Zverina is passionate about national security and raising awareness of how nation states and adversaries are weaponising emerging technologies for conducting automated and systematic disinformation and misinformation campaigns that are undermining our economy. He comes from a technical engineering background with 20 years of experience across engineering, operations, delivery and cyber roles across government and the private sector in Australia. With experience in Defence, public and private sector, he has managed multi-disciplinary technical teams and led several large and complex, programs of work, delivering applications and uplifting IT infrastructure, process maturity and cyber security posture. He has graduated with a Masters in Information Systems Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Security, Terrorism and Counterterrorism.
