John advises leading Australian financial services organisations on how they can adopt global better practice across all areas of cybersecurity. Much of John's most recent work has focussed on helping organisations optimise their operating models, including leveraging advanced and emerging technologies and methodologies, such as AI and cyber risk quantification, to achieve better security outcomes.
John began his career as a cross-border M&A lawyer, working in London, Hong Kong, Germany and Tokyo. He was a British diplomat for 9 years, focussing on conflicts in the Middle East, and has worked in cybersecurity in Australia for the last 10 years.
