Julian Fay is the Chief Technology Officer of Senetas Corporation, an Australian public company and a global leader in encryption technology that protects sensitive data for governments, defence organisations, and enterprises across 60 countries. The company’s solutions are internationally distributed and supported by Thales, the world's largest security provider.
Julian has been at the helm of product development, focusing on identifying and addressing both current and emerging data security challenges. His expertise is particularly important as the industry faces the growing concern of quantum computing and its potential impact on data encryption. He collaborates closely with technology partners, service providers, and channel partners to ensure Senetas remains at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation.
With more than 25 years of experience in IT and telecommunications, Julian's career began in the United Kingdom, where he developed hardware and software solutions before relocating to Australia. There, he co-founded CTAM, an encryption solution provider and precursor to Senetas.
Julian holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kent.
