Malcolm retired from a career in the New Zealand military/national security sector before taking up a number of roles in industry including Head of Security for Telecom NZ and Principal Security Officer at NBN Co. He is currently CTO for Kode-1 based in Melbourne.
Malcolm has represented Australia and New Zealand in cybersecurity forums internationally including the ISO and Open Group standards bodies. He is a partner in the Global Forum for Cyber Expertise (GFCE) and an adjunct PhD supervisor at Deakin University, and is the author of numerous online cybersecurity and programming courses published through Linkedin Learning and Offsec.
