Mark Cross is a cybersecurity business analyst, strategist, and founder of Envista Consulting, with over 25 years' experience in IT transformation. He specialises in helping change programmes embed security early—bridging the gap between business analysis and cybersecurity in industries including finance, telecoms, law, and bioinformatics.
In 2024, he founded the global Cyber Special Interest Group (Cyber SIG) within the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), where he leads international collaboration across regions to bring cybersecurity, privacy, and resilience into the mainstream of business change practice. Known for blending technical insight with stakeholder awareness, Mark regularly speaks at conferences on topics including the responsible use of AI, post-quantum data security, and management of innovation risk.
He is pursuing Chartered Cybersecurity Professional status via the UK Cyber Security Council and holds advanced qualifications in business analysis, cybersecurity and business administration.
