Mike is a seasoned cyber security expert with over 40 years IT experience, the past 25 years focused solely on cyber security.
Mike has established and led high-performing teams in both private and public sector organisations, including the formation of New Zealand’s first SIRT within the country’s largest telco and a dedicated regulatory team tasked with administering the governments Telecommunication Interception Capability and Security Act (TICSA) and Outer Space and High-Altitude Activities Act (OSHAA).
Mike holds specialist knowledge in operational security, strategic advisory, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
Currently, Mike collaborates with senior leaders to provide the crucial support and guidance they need to excel in their high-profile roles and navigate their significant responsibilities with confidence.
