Nicholas is Group Brand Strategy & Innovation Director at Optic Security Group leading the development of emerging security technology initiatives and the delivery of physical security consultancy services. He is a founding member of the Massey University National Security Journal editorial board, Chief Editor of the New Zealand Security Magazine, co-founder of Women in Security Awards Aotearoa, and a respected security researcher and commentator. A licensed Security Consultant, Nicholas is an Associate Protection Professional (APP), a Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner (CCTP) and recipient of the 2022 New Zealand Outstanding Security Performance Award (OSPA) for Lifetime Achievement.
