Shane Moffitt is a highly respected cybersecurity leader with over decades of experience driving security excellence across government and private sectors. For the past eight years, Shane has been an accredited IRAP Assessor, helping organizations navigate complex security standards and compliance requirements.
Currently the Principle of SHM Advisory, assisting organisations with a broad range of cyber service including IRAP assessments.
Shane was the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Victorian Government, where he leads critical initiatives to strengthen cyber resilience across the state. In addition, Shane is EY’s Oceania Lead for ISO 27001, providing strategic guidance on information security management systems to some of the region’s largest organizations. His expertise spans cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, and building security-first cultures. Shane is passionate about enabling secure innovation and fostering collaboration across the cybersecurity community.
