
Ursula is a highly driven and motivated leader, currently managing the Harm Prevention team at VMIA. She spearheads the delivery of initiatives under the Harm Prevention Roadmap as part of the Elevate strategy, encompassing Cyber, Maternity, and Surgery. With expertise in Human Factors and systems thinking, Ursula has made significant contributions to the Cyber Harm Prevention Initiative.
With over 18 years of experience in the healthcare sector across the United Kingdom and Australia, Ursula has excelled as both a clinician and a people leader. Her core expertise spans risk, insurance, governance (including clinical), data and insights, patient safety, and project and program management.
These diverse experiences have honed Ursula's skills in operational and people leadership, strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, benefit realisation, communications, critical thinking, data and insights, and financial and future planning/forecasting. She thrives in environments that allow her to be accountable, strategic, and agile. Recognised for her confident public speaking skills, mentorship and coaching qualities, leadership, planning, and passion, Ursula is dedicated to delivering Harm Prevention Programs on behalf of VMIA and its clients.
