I'm a Director, Investigations in the Regulatory Action Division at the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), where I lead complex regulatory investigations into serious interferences with privacy, including data breaches and cyber incidents. In that role I’ve led several major investigations, including the OAIC’s investigation into the Medibank data breach in 2022.
I hold a Master of Cyber Security from UNSW, specialising in security leadership and management. With over 14 years of investigative experience, spanning senior roles at ASIC and the Western Australia Police, I bring a practical and strategic lens to cyber governance and enforcement. I’ve also lectured, developed coursework, and provided support at UNSW for the past two years on the subjects of cyber governance, data security, and privacy.
